A Massachusetts city now has the “purr-fect” activity for cat lovers. Lowell’s first-ever cat cafe, Lazy Cat Lounge, officially opened on Friday, March 7, the business said in an Instagram post.
The Lazy Cat Lounge in Lowell allows visitors to sip coffee and then interact with adoptable cats. The cafe adheres to U.S. regulations that require cats to be separated from the food service area.
